Payment Manager
Arclane Capital Partners is seeking a self-motivated Payment Manager to support our growing finance and operations environment across Canada, the United States, and Australia. This position is suited to an individual who is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working with payment coordination, reconciliations, documentation, and day-to-day administrative controls.
Overview
The Payment Manager plays an important role in supporting payment-related processes, maintaining transaction accuracy, and helping ensure that internal finance workflows are completed on time and in accordance with company standards. This is an opportunity for a candidate who combines analytical ability with strong communication skills and a high level of administrative discipline.
Responsibilities
- Review payment requests, supporting records, and financial details for completeness and accuracy.
- Assist with day-to-day payment coordination, reconciliation support, and transaction tracking.
- Maintain organised records of approvals, processing activity, and supporting documentation.
- Communicate with internal teams, service providers, and counterparties regarding routine payment matters and documentation issues.
- Support the correction of discrepancies, follow-up items, and outstanding records under the guidance of management.
- Follow internal controls, reporting procedures, and company policies relevant to payment processing and financial administration.

- High attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with financial information.
- Good organisation, follow-up, and problem-resolution ability.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities in a structured way.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets, standard office systems, and administrative tools.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or general education equivalent required.
- College-level education, finance-related study, or administrative training is preferred.
- Previous experience in payment operations, office administration, finance support, or a related business environment is considered an asset.
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and practical experience may also be considered.
Other Skills
The ideal candidate will demonstrate sound judgement, reliability, and the ability to communicate professionally in writing and verbally. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel, is expected. A successful candidate should be capable of learning internal processes quickly, maintaining confidentiality where required, and supporting finance operations with consistency and care.
